A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with and then treated for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

When he recovered, the series returned to production. Bridges called the return a return after a “long weekend.” podcast in July 2022.

“The Old Man” is a spy thriller that is definitely worth watching!

Jeff Bridges is great as always and does an incredible job that will make you believe that at 72 he’s still a hot ass! His dogs steal every wall they are in and remind me of John Wick’s dogs.

The other actors are also on top, especially John Lithgow (who rarely disappoints)

I know there are a lot of really good spy shows to choose from, but this one has everything you want in a spy thriller and is definitely worth watching. I look forward to the sequel and recommend it to anyone who likes spy thrillers.
